Certificate Suspension & Withdrawal

Certification is more than a certificate, it is a public declaration of your organization’s commitment to quality, compliance, and internationally recognized standards. Maintaining this certification requires continuous conformity and timely completion of audits. Failure to do so may result in suspension or withdrawal of your certification, with immediate and serious consequences.

Non-compliance can lead to suspension or withdrawal, impacting your credibility, recognition, and market trust.

Certification Is a Commitment ：Not a One-Time Achievement

KIWACERT provides official public information on certification validity, compliance, and audit requirements. Organizations can check certification validity and verify certificate status to ensure compliance with international standards. Failure to maintain certification may result in suspension or withdrawal, affecting credibility, recognition, and business operations. It is important to complete surveillance and recertification audits on time to maintain certification status.

What happens if my certification is suspended or withdrawn?

Your certification becomes invalid immediately, and you lose the right to claim or use it. This may affect your business credibility, customer trust, and regulatory acceptance.

Can I continue using the certification mark after suspension?

No. All use of certification marks and claims must stop immediately. Any continued use is considered misleading and may lead to enforcement or legal action.

Will my certification still be publicly listed?

No. Suspended or withdrawn certifications will be removed from official listings and are no longer recognized by relevant authorities.

What if I decide to discontinue my certification?

If you intend to discontinue your certification, please inform KIWACERT through our customer service line as early as possible, preferably at least 90 days before the planned audit date. Late notice—especially after audit arrangements have been confirmed—may result in applicable penalties. Upon discontinuation: All use of certification marks and certificates must cease immediately Your certification will be removed from official listings (e.g. IAF, IATF, MDA, where applicable) Our team will guide you through the proper discontinuation procedure to ensure compliance Timely communication helps avoid unnecessary costs and ensures a smooth and compliant process.
